Use your own pesto or your favorite commercial brand. Yield depends on size of meatballs. I make mine about 1 1/2-2 inches. Use in your favorite sauce over pasta or as an appetizer. They freeze well.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 1/2 cups plain bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup pesto
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 egg

How To Make pesto meatballs

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 375°F. Line sheet pan with sides (15x10-inch) with foil; spray foil with cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    In large bowl, mix all ingredients until well combined. Shape mixture into balls; place on prepared pan.
  • Step 3
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until thermometer inserted in center of meatballs reads 165°F.
