A delicious old favorite in almost no time at all. This mixture can be used to stuff peppers or squash!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2/3 cup quick cooking rice, (minute rice)
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cans (8 oz. each) hunt's tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup water

How To Make jiffy porcupines

  • Step 1
    Mix beef, rice(uncooked), onion, seasonings. Form into 1-inch meatballs. Brown lightly on all sides in oil in a 10 inch skillet; drain fat. Add tomato sauce and water combined. Mix well. Cover and simmer about 20 minutes.
