hot & spicy b-b-q meatballs

My Grandmothers friend, gave her this recipe, and has been a classic meal on the Anderson side of the family (AKA my father's side) I pray that this dish finds its way to your table soon! **These are meant for party snacks or as a meal as well, Great super bowl snacks, baby showers, or and old get together*****

Ingredients

  • MEATBALLS
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground hamburger
  • 3/4 cup oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • SAUCE
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 1 tablespoon marjoram powder
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon pepperika
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 bottle 14 oz ketchup
  • 1/4 cup water (pour into ketchupbottle and shake out rest of ketchup)

How To Make hot & spicy b-b-q meatballs

  • Step 1
    pre-heat oven to *350. In a large bowel mix together all the ingredients for the meat balls, shape into small meatballs(very small like cocktail sized) place in the oven on a cookie sheet. Brown on each side, turn once,while cooking at *350 til golden brown.
  • Step 2
    Sauce- In a large (I use a 5 quart)saucepan, mix all ingredients and simmer till thickened, Add meatballs and simmer for about 15 more min.
