    pkg cornbread and muffin mix
  • 2/3 c
  • 3 c
    panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 16 oz
    pkg cocktail franks
  • 1 qt
    peanut oil for frying

How to Make Crazy Crispy Corn Puppies


  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium high heat.
  2. In a small bowl combine cornbread mix and buttermilk. Add salt and stir.
  3. Dredge cocktail franks in cornbread mix and then in panko crumbs. Refrigerate a few minutes and then fry in hot oil.
