How To Make best air fryer barbecued chicken wings

  • 1
Pat your chicken wings dry with a paper towel until they are dry.
  • 2
Add the seasonings to a large bowl with the baking powder. Stir with a wire whisk until well combined.
  • 3
Add wings and toss with coating, making sure all the wings are coated in the seasoning mix.
  • 4
Preheat the air fryer to 380°F for 4 minutes.
  • 5
lightly brush or spray the air fryer basket with oil. Place the chicken into the air fryer basket. Do not place chicken on top of each other or crowd them into the basket. You may have to work in batches to accomplish this.
  • 6
Give the tops of the wings a spritz with canola oil if you have an oil sprayer or gently dab the tops with oil using a barbecue or pastry brush.
  • 7
Cook at 380°F for 10 minutes. Then, flip the chicken and cook for another 7-10 minutes.
  • 8
Transfer the chicken wings to a large bowl. Then, pour ⅔ cups of barbecue sauce onto the wings and mix until all the wings are coated.
  • 9
Place the chicken coated in barbecue sauce back into the air fryer and heat for 5 minutes at 370°F.
