yummy & buttery onion bacon pinwheels
I have been making these for years. My husband is a bigger onion fan than I am, so he eats the majority! I will sometimes substitute green or sweet onions for the regular onion, just for a change. They are good any way, and can be tweaked to your own taste. A good old standby recipe!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 6 - crisply cooked bacon slices, crumbled
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls

Step 1Pre-heat oven to 375º.

Step 2Combine onion, butter, bacon and parsley; mix well.

Step 3Separate dough into eight rectangles; firmly press perforations to seal.

Step 4Spread butter mixture over dough. Roll up each rectangle, starting at short end; cut into four slices.

Step 5Place on ungreased cookie sheet, cut side down; flatten slightly. Bake at 375º 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
