I use the word "Empanada" loosely here folks, but cream cheese, sausage and crescent rolls - what's not to love?

1 package breakfast sausage tube (i like bob evans spicy for this recipe)
1 package brick of softened cream cheese
2 cans 8 count cans of large crescent rolls

How To Make white trash empanadas

Step 1

pre-heat oven to 350

Step 2

fry sausage over med-high heat and crumble
Step 3

drain excess grease and return to pan
Step 4

add softened cream cheese to sausage and mix thoroughly
Step 5

spoon heaping teaspoon onto wide end of rolled out crescent triangle, roll up loosely as directed on can and bake for 13 - 14 minutes. repeat for remaining dough.
