swiss cheese bacos

i think of the holidays when I do appetizers because we do so many during the holidays, especially hot appetizers. This is salty, creamy, and savory and is a great foil for my famous cranberry punch. I had a coworker give me this recipe more than 25 years ago and am still making it!

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces swiss cheese, shredded
  • 6 ounces black olives, chopped small
  • 8 ounces can water chestnuts, chopped samll
  • 2 ounces bacos
  • 1 small onion, small dice
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 packages mini cocktail rye bread slices

How To Make swiss cheese bacos

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Mix together everything except the rye bread.
  • Step 3
    Spread about 2 tablespoons of filling on each slice of rye.
  • Step 4
    Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
