spicy cranberry puffs
These get snarfed up as soon as they come out of the oven over here. They're a quick and easy hors d'oeuvre and are perfect for holiday parties and potlucks. I will often double the recipe because they go so fast. You'll use about 16 TBSP of cheese and about 16 TSP cranberries (with liquid from the sauce to make a glaze)

How To Make spicy cranberry puffs
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 400 and unfold pastry sheet. Cut pastry into roughly 2 inch squares. Place squares on baking sheet with a silpat or parchment.
-
Step 2Drain chiles and mix well into cranberry sauce.
-
Step 3Roll cheese into large marbles and smoosh into each pastry on the top middle.
-
Step 4Using a pastry brush, brush the liquid from the cranberry mixture over each pastry square to create a glaze.
-
Step 5Finally top each piece with a rounded teaspoon of the cranberries.
-
Step 6Cook 25 to 30 minutes, until pastry is puffy and golden.
