Here in the south, most of us super enjoy our pimento cheese. There are many different ways to make this delicious cheese spread, this is just my way. You can serve it in a pretty bowl surrounded by various crackers, spread it on bread for sandwiches, you can even melt it on a burger or use it to make grilled cheese sandwiches. I hope you'll try this recipe, you won't be disappointed.

  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese, softened, 8-ounce size
  • 2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese, mild or sharp
  • 1 jar(s)
    4-ounce size diced pimentos well drained
  • 1 large
    heaping spoonful mayonnaise

How to Make Southern Style Pimento Cheese


  1. Place all ingredients into a mixing bowl. Using a mixer, mix until well blended and smooth. Transfer to a plastic storage container and refrigerate.
  2. Serve with crackers, your favorite raw veggies, bread or whatever you like. You may also melt it on a burger or make grilled cheese. Enjoy!
