(1 RATING)
This is a recipe that I got from a friend's mom. It was taken out of a magazine many years ago. I have made and enjoyed this for a very long time and I have given out the recipes many times.

How To Make sausage brunch braid
-
Step 1Over medium heat, cook sausage, onion, celery, green pepper and garlic until meat is no longer pink and veggies arre tender; drain. Add cream cheese, green onion and parsley. Cook over low heat until cheese is melted, set aside. Unroll crescent roll dough on a greased baking sheet; press perforations together. Roll into a 12 x 10 rectangle. Spoon sausage mixture to within 3 inches of each long side. Cut 3/4 " wide strips 3" into center. Starting at one end, fold alternating strips at an angle, forming a braid. Brush with egg. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
