pan seared reduced fat brie and peach compote
I love entertaining but sometimes find it hard to take the time to make everything from scratch. This quick and easy brie and compote recipe is perfect in a pinch! I found light brie at Trader Joe's.

Ingredients
- 1 - wheel or slice of brie (i used trader joe's lite brie about 1/4 of a pound)
- 2 - peaches sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
How To Make pan seared reduced fat brie and peach compote

Step 1In a skillet melt butter on medium heat and add brown sugar.

Step 2Add cinnamon and peaches. Cook until peaches are soft and a light syrup has formed.

Step 3Heat another skillet on medium/high heat until smoking. Add brie (make sure to remove rind if necessary) and pan sear until cheese begins to melt (about 3 minutes)

Step 4Place warmed brie on a plate and top with peach complote...ENJOY!
