Ingredients
- 4 ounces light cream cheese, room temperature
- 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded plus more for topping
- 2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 tablespoon finely chopped chives
- 6 large jalapeño peppers, halved, seeded, and ribs removed
- 1/3 cup panko® breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
How To Make oven baked jalapeÑo poppers

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with a silicone mat; set aside.

Step 2In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder and chives. Stir until nicely blended.

Step 3Evenly stuff the jalapeño peppers with the cream cheese mixture; sprinkle a little more cheddar cheese over top.

Step 4In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and melted butter. Top off the peppers with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing down gently to adhere.

Step 5Transfer to the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the top is golden brown.

Step 6Remove from the heat and let the stuffed peppers sit for 10 minutes before serving.
