Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1/3 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 tablespoon finely snipped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 package (1 crust) folded refrigerated unbaked piecrust
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 teaspoons grated parmesan cheese
  • - finely snipped fresh parsley

How To Make nutty blue cheese rolls

  • Step 1
    In a medium bowl, mix together walnuts, blue cheese, 1 Tbsp. parsley, and pepper.
  • Step 2
    On a lightly floured surface, unfold piecrust according to package directions. Spread filling evenly over the crust. Cut pastry circle into 12 wedges. Starting at wide ends, loosely roll up wedges.
  • Step 3
    Place rolls, tips down, on greased baking sheets. Brush rolls lightly with milk and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and additional parsley.
  • Step 4
    Bake in a preheated 425-degree oven for 15 minutes or until golden. Transfer to a wire rack. Serve warm.
