Recently pulled out this recipe to feed a lot of guests. This appetizer really does it. Lots of spicy meat and gooey cheese wrapped in toasty bread.... My husband calls this a "man sized" appetizer because of all the hearty goodness. Nobody leaves hungry; that's for sure! This recipe makes a lot; just cut it down for a smaller group. FYI: any leftovers make an awesome snack the next day. Eat them cold or warmed up-YUM! NOTE: prep time does not include bread thawing and rising time; plan ahead!
