holiday cheese ball

I found this recipe in an old cookbook of my mom's when I was 12 years old.I made a few and she took one to work for her Christmas Party. From that year on my mother would come home during the holidays with orders from her co-workers for cheese balls at $5 apiece. I was able to buy all my Christmas gifts from what I made. Nearly 40 years later I still have people calling around Thanksgiving asking if they are going to get their Holiday Cheese Ball this year. I no longer sell them, now they are a gift for the people I love.
