noah's cut-out sammies
This are super easy and festive appetizer for any event. Especially for the kids and to add to any theme of party you are having. They are tasty and fun to make. You can also get the kids to help make them. Whatever theme of party you are doing you can add these little sammies to them. When I make some for Thanksgiving I will add a picture for those sammies as well.

How To Make noah's cut-out sammies
-
Step 1These sammies just have peanut butter in the middle and raisins for the eyes. You could make any kind of sammie you want. Just use the cookie cutter side of the outline to do the bottom and top of the sammie. Top part of sammie has the details of the face on it and you will use it after you cut out the outline part. I will probably do pumpkins for Thanksgiving, turkeys or something else.

Step 2Pair them up with something else on a tray to add interest. This was a very healthy tray of goodies. The other item is a quartered apple with peanut butter and candy corns or you can use mini marshmallows too. In the middle of the tray is popcorn. This recipe was my inspiration:https://www.justapinch.com/recipe/jeanne-benavidez/apple-bites/quick-easy-vegetarian-healthy-other-snack-for-kids Just didn't have the right kind of almonds or else I would have done them.

Step 3These sammies were made for my nephew Brendan who is 9 yrs old and LUVS grilled cheese and he loves bacon too. So, I grilled him bacon and cheese heart sammies for Valentine's Day!
-
Step 4These sammies are for my nephew Noah who is 8 yrs old and doesn't like anything toasted and when he eats peanut butter and jelly they must be on separate slices of bread. LOL...So, he had two larger hearts with peanut butter and the smaller hearts I triple layered the bread and had strawberry jam and some homemade chocolate sauce for Valentine's Day. This was a bit of a challenge for him but because he was so excited to have a special meal made just for him he did eat them. He took off the icing on top and ate it first and then proceeded to eat his sammies. He did not eat the little sprinkles I put on them and he was lookin' unsure when he tried the triple layer strawberry and chocolate but he ate it, so that was great!
