Got this recipe from a gal friend in Albany, IL. Tasted it and had to have it!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces philadelphia cream cheese
  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 pinch crushed red pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tablespoons chopped black olives
  • 3 tablespoons chopped artichokes (optional)
  • - crispy italian bread rounds

How To Make creamy pizza dip

  • Step 1
    Chop olives and artichokes. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    Spread room temperature cream cheese into a small baking pan. This is the “crust”.
  • Step 3
    Assemble the pizza: spread 2 T tomato sauce over the cheese
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle with grated parmesan
  • Step 5
    Sprinkle the oregano, garlic and red pepper over the cheese and tomato If you are using olives and artichokes, lay those on top of the spices
  • Step 6
    Last put the shredded mozzarella cheese on top
  • Step 7
    Bake in 400 degree oven for about 10 min, until mozzarella is melted.
  • Step 8
    Before you serve, mix all the ingredients together and transfer to serving dish.
  • Step 9
    Serve warm or room temperature with bread rounds
