This is a recipe from Allrecipes.com. I have made it by using the review's suggestion about covering it with mini chocolate chips instead of pecans and it was wonderful that way too!
8 oz size cream cheese, softened
miniature semisweet chocolate chips
finely chopped pecans
How To Make
1. In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese and butter until smooth. Mix in confectioners' sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Stir in chocolate chips. Cover, and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
2. Shape chilled cream cheese mixture into a ball. Wrap with plastic, and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
3. Roll the cheese ball in finely chopped pecans before serving.
**Reviews suggested rolling in mini chocolate chips instead of pecans or serve as a dip instead of a ball.
Serve with graham crackers or sticks, or vanilla wafers.
