By the early 80's, and still maintaining our unique social circle, all of us had picked ourselves up, found meaningful work and moved out of the safety of the Hogbarn. We no longer prepared our one large dish for sharing, and started making entire meals with smaller proportions. I found myself often calling and asking "How did you make your .... ? This is my "tweaked" version of Debbie's salsa.

Ingredients
- 2 cups diced tomatoes (both red and yellow)
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 2 medium jalapeños (seeded and ribs removed and diced) or pepper of your choice
- 1/4 cup black olives (finely chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
How To Make simply salsa

Step 1Combine all ingredients and let them marry at room temperature. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.
