I borrowed this recipe from a lady by the name of Linda F, from Mississippi and thought that I would post it . It just so happens that i I love Asparagus so i hope that yall enjoy this yummy recipe.. :)
1Place asparagus in a steamer basket; place basket in a large saucepan over 1 inch of water. Bring to a boil; cover and steam for 3-5 minutes or until crisp tendr; pat dry.
2In a small bowl, combine cheese sauce and mayonnaise. Flatten bread slices with rolling pin. Spread cheese mixture over each to within 1/2 inch of edges. Top each with 2 pieces of asparagus; roll up. Brush with butter; sprinkle with paprika. (optional).
3Place in an ungreased 15x10x1 baking pan. Bake at 350* for 5-8 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm.
Yield: 14 servings.
