A twist on regular jalapeno poppers; very easy. Tastes like a pizza in a jalapeno popper :)

  • 5
    jalapeno peppers
  • 8 oz
    mozzarella cheese
  • 8 oz
  • 1 pt
    cherry tomatoes, diced
  • 1 Tbsp
    oregano, divided
  • 1 bunch
    fresh basil

How to Make Caprese Pepper Poppers


  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Slice peppers lengthwise and scoop out seeds and veins.
  3. Slice pepperoni slices in half and line the along the sides of the peppers. Add diced tomatoes to the middle of pepper. Sprinkle a bit of oregano on tomatoes.
  4. Add basil leaves.
  5. Slice up fresh mozzarella. If yours has moisture in it, squeeze out the moisture with a paper towel.
  6. Add cheese to top of your growing pepper tower.
  7. Just for good measure, add more pepperoni on top.
  8. Better yet, add more cheese on top of all that!
  9. Bake uncovered for 35 minutes. Enjoy!
