This is a combination Antipasto. Granny was from Naples and Grandpa from Palermo. No holiday is complete at my home unless there is Granny's Antipasto

Ingredients For antipasto zuccaro style

  • 1 jar
    sweet mixed pickles
  • 1 jar
    sweet baby gherkins
  • 1/2 jar
    sweet cherry peppers
  • 1 jar
    mild banana pepper rings
  • 1 jar
    spanish olives
  • 1 can
    medium size black olives
  • 1 can
    anchovies in oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil

How To Make antipasto zuccaro style

  • 1
    Drain and combine all pickles, peppers and olives in a large bowl
  • 2
    Pour anchovy oil over pickles
  • 3
    Sprinkle garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste
  • 4
    Toss to combine
  • 5
    Place in a decorative bowl and decorate with the anchovies fillets
  • 6
    Cover with Plastic Wrap and Refrigerate overnight to allow flavors to meld
