Succulent honey-orange shrimp
jumbo shrimp, peeled, deveined
each, salt and pepper
How to Make Succulent honey-orange shrimp
1Place cornstarch, garlic powder, salt and pepper in lg plastic zip-lock bag, shake to mix. Wash shrimp w/ cold water. Put 1/2 the shrimp into the bag, shake to coat. Place on a plate.
2Do the same w/ remaining shrimp. Heat oil in lg deep skillet over medium heat until hot. Place 1/2 the shrimp into oil, fry 2-3 mins per side. Drain on paper towels.
3Fry remaining shrimp. Let skillet cool, and wipe dry. Pour the honey into pan, bring to boil over medium heat. Stir in orange zest, lemon juice and cayenne pepper. Drizzle sauce over shrimp.
