  • 1 lb
    fresh sea scallops
  • 10 slice
    maple-flavored bacon
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 c
    pure maple syrup

How to Make Maple-bacon wrapped scallops

Step-by-Step

  1. Cut scallops into 20 equal pieces. Cut bacon slices crosswise. In lg skillet over med-high heat, cook bacon until browned but not crisp.
  2. Heat oven to 425. Wrap each scallop piece w/ a slice of bacon. Secure w/ a toothpick. Season w/ salt and pepper.
  3. Place scallops on a shallow baking dish. Brush each scallop w/ some maple syrup. Bake about 10 mins, turning once.
