Ingredients

  • 6 - skewers
  • 1/2 cup apricot preserves
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 pound large shrimp, cleaned, deveined, with tails left on

How To Make firecracker shrimp

  • Step 1
    Preheat the grill to med. heat. If using wooden skewers, soak in water for 20 min. In med. bowl, combine the apricot preserves, oil, soy sauce and crushed red pepper, mix well. Thread shrimp onto each skewer. Brush with apricot mixture and grill over med. heat for 2-3 min. per side, or until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
