creamy seafood stuffed mushrooms

I love serving these delicious mushroom caps along w/ a fish diiner.

Ingredients

  • 40 - button mushroom caps
  • 1/3 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon light mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 teaspoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 - green onion, diced
  • 1 - 6 oz can crabmeat, drained, flaked
  • 1 - 7 oz can baby shrimp, drained
  • 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup italian-style bread crumbs

How To Make creamy seafood stuffed mushrooms

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 400. In saucepan, over low heat, whisk together flour, cream cheese, milk, garlic, nutmeg and pepper. Whisk until cream cheese is mostly smooth.
  • Step 2
    Stir in mayonnaise, lemon juice, parmesan cheese, and green onion. remove from heat, fold in crab and shrimp. Let cool.
  • Step 3
    Stuff caps w/ filling. Place caps on a baking sheet, sprinkle w/ cheddar cheese and bread crumbs. Bake 15 mins.
