    button mushroom caps
  • 1/3 c
    cream cheese
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 pinch
    nutmeg
  • 1 pinch
    pepper
  • 2 tsp
    flour
  • 1 Tbsp
    light mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 3 tsp
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1
    green onion, diced
  • 1
    6 oz can crabmeat, drained, flaked
  • 1
    7 oz can baby shrimp, drained
  • 1/2 c
    shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c
    italian-style bread crumbs

How to Make Creamy seafood stuffed mushrooms

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 400. In saucepan, over low heat, whisk together flour, cream cheese, milk, garlic, nutmeg and pepper. Whisk until cream cheese is mostly smooth.
  2. Stir in mayonnaise, lemon juice, parmesan cheese, and green onion. remove from heat, fold in crab and shrimp. Let cool.
  3. Stuff caps w/ filling. Place caps on a baking sheet, sprinkle w/ cheddar cheese and bread crumbs. Bake 15 mins.
