saltine crackers (appx 40)
1 c
1 c
brown sugar
1/2 tsp
cayenne pepper (more or less to taste)
1/2 tsp
pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp
kosher salt
1/2 tsp
ground black pepper
1/2 c
crumbled crisp-cooked bacon
1/4 c
toasted sunflower seeds

How to Make Sweet and Spicy Cracker Bark


  • 1Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and spray with no-stick cooking spray.
  • 2Arrange saltines in a single layer covering the entire baking sheet.
  • 3In a medium saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, cayenne, pumpkin pie spice, salt and pepper.
  • 4Stir to combine and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  • 5Pour over crackers and spread to evenly cover all crackers.
  • 6Bake at 350 degrees until golden and bubbly, about 5 minutes.
  • 7Remove from oven, sprinkle with bacon and sunflower seeds.
  • 8Cool completely and break into bite-sized pieces.
