Ingredients
- - saltine crackers (appx 40)
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (more or less to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup crumbled crisp-cooked bacon
- 1/4 cup toasted sunflower seeds
How To Make sweet and spicy cracker bark

Step 1Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and spray with no-stick cooking spray.

Step 2Arrange saltines in a single layer covering the entire baking sheet.

Step 3In a medium saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, cayenne, pumpkin pie spice, salt and pepper.

Step 4Stir to combine and bring to a simmer over medium heat.

Step 5Pour over crackers and spread to evenly cover all crackers.

Step 6Bake at 350 degrees until golden and bubbly, about 5 minutes.

Step 7Remove from oven, sprinkle with bacon and sunflower seeds.

Step 8Cool completely and break into bite-sized pieces.
