  • ·
    saltine crackers (appx 40)
  • 1 c
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper (more or less to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp
    pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1/2 c
    crumbled crisp-cooked bacon
  • 1/4 c
    toasted sunflower seeds

How to Make Sweet and Spicy Cracker Bark


  1. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and spray with no-stick cooking spray.
  2. Arrange saltines in a single layer covering the entire baking sheet.
  3. In a medium saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, cayenne, pumpkin pie spice, salt and pepper.
  4. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  5. Pour over crackers and spread to evenly cover all crackers.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees until golden and bubbly, about 5 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven, sprinkle with bacon and sunflower seeds.
  8. Cool completely and break into bite-sized pieces.
