stuffed mushrooms
I've made these for over forty years now and everyone loves them. They are really easy and very tasty. If I have leftover filling I usually place around caps and bake with mushrooms. Hope you enjoy them, we do.

Ingredients
- 1 pound bulk sausage, i usually mild
- 1 pound mushrooms, whole
- 2 - tbls of butter
- 1 package mozarella cheese
- 1 - sleeve of town house crackers
How To Make stuffed mushrooms

Step 1Clean mushrooms and dry. Cut off stems.

Step 2Cook stems in melted butter till brown.

Step 3Brown sausage until done and drain.

Step 4Place crackers into food processor and crush fine. Add cooked sausage and stems. Process until smooth.

Step 5Place caps on cookie sheet. Add sausage mixture.

Step 6Cut mozarella into strips to fit mushroom tops. Criss cross them. Bake in 350 degrees, for 20 minutes or until mushrooms are cooked.
