I have been using this recipe since 1970's. I love it because It's an easy recipe and will makes a nice meal by adding a salad. It is usually requested when my children come to visit.

Ingredients

round steak cubed
1 can(s)
campbell's beef broth
1 can(s)
mushrooms, canned bits $ pieces
1 medium
onion chopped
2 stick
butter
1 c
uncooked rice( not instant)
2 c
flour
2 tsp
salt

How to Make ROUND STEAK CASSEROLE

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut steak into cubes. Put oil in skillet to heat. Flour the cubed steak and brown in oil.
  • 2While the steak is browning, place 1whole stick butter in a 11x13 baking pan and place in oven until melted.
  • 3When butter is melted remove from oven and add the steak,beef broth, mushrooms,chopped onion, and rice. Stir to mix together.
  • 4Seal with foil tightly and place back in oven. Bake 1hour
