this is a favorite appetizer of mine

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/3 cup chopped almonds, toasted
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 4 - eggs

How To Make chicken puffs

  • Step 1
    Combine chicken and almonds; set aside. In large saucepan, Combine the broth, oil,Worcestershire sauce, parsley, salt, celery seed, and ceyenne pepper. Bring to a boil; add flour, all at once, and stir untill smooth ball forms. remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each. Beat until smooth. stir in chicken and almonds; drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 450 degrees f for 12 minutes or until golden brown. serve warm
