A nice change from tomato-based salsas.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup red apple, unpeeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup anaheim chili, seeded and minced
  • 1/2 - jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • - tortilla chips for dipping

How To Make apple salsa with cilantro and lime

  • Step 1
    Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, mix well.
  • Step 2
    Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight. Serve with tortilla chips.
