These are quite flavorful and tasty. Easy to make appetizer that works for many occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen beef or cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups italian seasoned panko (plain is okay)
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 package italian dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk

How To Make toasted ravioli

  • Step 1
    Let ravioli thaw until just slightly frozen. Mix dry ingredients in one bowl. If using plain panko breadcrumbs add 2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning to dry ingredients. In a separate bowl whisk eggs and milk together.
  • Step 2
    Dip ravioli into egg mixture letting excess run off the coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Place on cookie sheet until ready to fry.
  • Step 3
    Deep fry in small batches of about 6 for 4 to 6 minutes or until golden brown. If using a frying pan you want your oil about 1 inch deep bring oil to 350 degrees and fry on both sides until golden brown. About 3 mins per side. Garnish with parmesan cheese and chopped parsley if you like and serve with favorite marinara dipping sauce.
