Ingredients

  • 1 pkg
    frozen beef or cheese ravioli
  • 2 c
italian seasoned panko (plain is okay)
  • 1/4 c
    flour
  • 1 pkg
    italian dressing mix
  • 1/2 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 3 large
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    milk

How to Make Toasted Ravioli

Step-by-Step

  1. Let ravioli thaw until just slightly frozen. Mix dry ingredients in one bowl. If using plain panko breadcrumbs add 2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning to dry ingredients. In a separate bowl whisk eggs and milk together.
  2. Dip ravioli into egg mixture letting excess run off the coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Place on cookie sheet until ready to fry.
  3. Deep fry in small batches of about 6 for 4 to 6 minutes or until golden brown. If using a frying pan you want your oil about 1 inch deep bring oil to 350 degrees and fry on both sides until golden brown. About 3 mins per side. Garnish with parmesan cheese and chopped parsley if you like and serve with favorite marinara dipping sauce.
