This is such an easy but delicious cheese ball. I have been making it since I was 19 years old and I always go back to this one. The flavors are just "there". Simple, flavorful. Just a good, basic cheese ball. Never any left. Everyone loves it and asks for the recipe and are surprised when they see how few ingredients and how simple it is. My kinda recipe!

Ingredients

2 - 8 pkg
cream cheese
5 oz
dried beef, divided (you know, the kind in the jar)
1 tsp
garlic powder
1 tsp
accent
2 Tbsp
chives

How to Make Beefy Cheese Ball

Step-by-Step

  • 1Tear beef into small pieces. Reserve 2 ounces of the dried beef.
  • 2Combine all other ingredients and shape into a ball.
  • 3Chill until somewhat firm - a few hours.
  • 4Roll in remaining beef pieces. Serve with crackers of your choice. I like to serve it with Sociables.
