Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp
    lite soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    rice wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    packed, light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 lb
    beef round steak, cut into thin strips
  • 8 oz
    frozen snow peas, thawed
  • 2 c
    hot cooked rice

How to Make Asian stir-fry beef

Step-by-Step

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar and cornstarch.
  2. Haet oil in lg skillet or wok over med-high heat. Stir fry ginger and garlic 30 seconds. Add steak strips and stir-fry 2 mins, or until browned. Add snowpeas, stir-fry 3 mins.
  3. Add the soy sauce mix and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Lower heat to a simmer until sauce is thickened. Serve mix over rice.
