Ingredients For mom's turkey chili

1 lbground turkey
-
1/2 conion chopped
-
1 clovegarlic,crushed
-
1 mdgreen bell pepper- diced
-
1 cancrushed tomatoes (28oz)

1 canred kidney beans
-
1 canchick peas- drained
-
1 canblack beans ( optional to drain)
-
1 Tbspchili powder
-
salt and pepper to taste
-
few drops hot sauce (ex.tabasco sauce)
How To Make mom's turkey chili

1Brown turkey chop meat, onion, green pepper, and garlic until turkey in thoroughly cooked. Drain. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker . Set on high for 5-6 hours - the longer the better.

2Stir as needed and add additional liquid (e.g. water, can of tomato sauce) if needed.

3serve topped with your favorite cheese and crushed tortilla chips
