Ingredients For lisa's cracklin cornbread

  • 2 c
    self-rising corn meal (preferably white lily)
  • 1 c
    self-rising flour (preferably white lily)
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 stick
    margarine
  • 1/4 c
    oil
  • 1 c
    cracklings

How To Make lisa's cracklin cornbread

    Spray sillet with Pam. Melt margarine in an iron skillet (iron works better). Mix meal, flour and sugar together in a large bowl. Add eggs, oil and milk. Add melted butter and cracklings. Stir all well. Pour in skillet. Bake in a 425 F. oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
