Great way to get kids to eat broccoli. Fantastic dish!!

Ingredients For broccoli/rice casserole

  • 2 box
    frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 box
    (small) minute rice
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 3/4 pkg
    lg. velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 3 stick
    celery, chopped
  • 3/4 stick
    butter or margarine
  • pepper to taste

How To Make broccoli/rice casserole

  • 1
    Saute' onion and celery in butter or margarine, til tender. Cook broccoli and rice according to package directions.

    In a large mixing bowl, add cubed cheese and soups. Top with hot ingredients as they become ready. This will help melt down the cheese. Add pepper and stir until thoroughly mixed.

    Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray and add casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until bubbly. Enjoy !!
