Blue Ribbon Recipe

Want to make vegetables more appealing? Try serving these honey glazed vegetables as a side dish. It's a mouthwatering dish that is sweet, savory, and slightly bitter. Each bite is a delightful play on textures. We've tried this with broccoli alone and using an assortment of vegetables. Both ways were delicious.

Place veggies in a saucepan with water, margarine, and honey.
  • Lid on the saucepan and cooking the vegetable.
Bring to a boil and cover. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Sauce simmering to thicken.
Remove the lid and increase the heat. Allow the water and honey mixture to reduce to create the glaze on the veggies, for about 5-7 minutes.
