2 cicing sugar (and a little extra for dusting purposes)
2 Tbsplight corn syrup
1 1/2 Tbspbutter, softened
1 tsppeppermint extract
8 ozsemi sweet chocolate
How to Make Peppermint Patties
- Mix the first five ingredients until smooth. You may need to add a few more drops of milk. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Dust with a little icing sugar and roll out until 1/4 inch thick. Cut into small stars and freeze until hard.
- Melt the chocolate with 2 tsp shortening, in microwave, and let it cool to room temperature.
Dip stars into chocolate and chill until set.
