Ingredients For cabbage and sausage soup

1 cancrushed tomatoes, 28 oz.

1 candiced tomatoes, 15 oz.

1head of cabbage, chopped into bite-size pieces

32 ozbeef broth

4carrots, sliced

1 mdwhite onion, chopped

water, as needed

4 mdpotatoes, quartered

1 pkgsmoked sausage (14 oz)

To get it started, we added a couple of cups of water. Once everything was done, we added a little more water to get the soupy consistency. Also, salt and pepper to your taste.

1In a large pot or Dutch oven, combine all ingredients and bring to a simmer.

2Cook until carrots and potatoes are just fork tender.
