My step daughter that hates raisins in anything, loves this sauce, go figure. I have been making this for years and it originally came from my American Cooking Cook book. I have put it in my little hand written recipe book bc it is one of my favorite go to's for a little dress me up for ham when I don't want to do a glaze. This is more tart than sweet with the vinegar and lemon juice, you could cut back on those if you want it sweeter. the sauce is not thick, you could add maybe a tablespoon or more of cornstarch to make it thicker.
