I had planned to make this recipe using Splenda, but discovered I was out of it at the last minute, and decided to use Truvia instead. I must admit this is the first recipe I have made using TRUVIA, but I loved the results I got with this recipe. Truvia is a Baking Blend, & a natural sweetner with sugar but has 75% less calories per serving than sugar. The package states that 1/2 cup Truvia Baking Blend (190 calories) sweetens like 1 cup sugar (760 calories) It is NOT A SUGAR FREE PRODUCT, but sweetens like sugar with less calories. I loved the consistency of the cranberry Sauce.
