Robyn - This recipe reminded me so much of my mom's, but Mom never cooked the veggies ahead. I do prefer them cooked ahead. My can of chicken broth didn't quite make 2 cups, so I topped it off with half and half. I had plenty to make a large side dish of stuffing. We really, really enjoyed it and I will be using your recipe from now on!!! Again thanks for sharing and I hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving. Jane (another PA girl!!)
