Hay Kim, What about putting diced potatoes and use about 1/2 cup of the potato buds to thicken the soup. Dice your potatoes in a 1/4 inch dice And cook until soft but not mushey.

I still have to add some things to it and I was just frustrated after making it I just had to walk away. LOL
Fist time I had to make any corrections to a Taste Of Home recipe. I just know it has to be a typo or something?

Hey Eddie, I been meaning to talk to you and your wife about this recipe. I really had to doctor it up and change it. It was a mess. They had 2 1/2 cups of potato buds in this and there is no way it would turn out right! I was making it over the weekend and I had to add a bunch of stuff to get it right. So then I thought about deleting the recipe or asking if you and your wife could try it out with my addtions and subtractions and all. I think I may even change the name of it too. I added more cheese to it and spices and would not put the 2 1/2 cups but not willing to try it again so soon. LEt me know what your thoughts are on it?
