this looks round I thought it would be sq. I don't have a jelly roll pan can I use a deep dish . in the recipe it said to slit the crust did that mean make slits in the top like cooking a frozen pie it always says make slits in the top. I want to cook this for my 23 yr old grand son he loves apples cooked in anything
