Nellie you did a wonderful job. Don't beat yourself up over it. I can tell from the broth that it tasted good. I am sure you will remember the next time to add the paste, because it not only adds color, it helps to thicken the broth, but the important thing is that your family loved it, and you have left overs. I appreciate you sharing. My Mother would be so PROUD of you for making her Corn Bread too. I am proud of you too.
