If you make it again Kitchen Crew, could you post a picture of our final product? I make it the same way you show, but for some reason it looks more like a marbled effect... with small uneven parts of the cake layer, with chocolate all around each. (sorry it's so hard to explain)...it never has the look of most of the pictures here, including Erin's.
