Thanks for this delicious recipe! I cubed my bread and added some cinnamon and vanilla to the recipe....it was great and didn't last long with my house full of boys!
The darkness on top is because I sprinkled it with cinnamon sugar before baking - something I always do with a cobbler. I'm sure it would be just as good without it, though.
I added 1 tsp vanilla and sprinkled cinnamon to my taste on top. It is very sweet...you could cut back on the sugar added and add more bread I did that the second time I made this.
