Burger Wrapped Irish Sausage with Fresh Mozzarella and cheddar Cheese. This is my husbands dinner plate before adding the Baby Spinach leaves and sliced shallots. He all but made a Happy plate. Smile I could only eat 1/4 of a sandwich. We have left overs.
This is one of the 2 that I cooked in a cast iron skillet on the stove top. But using the oven method is easier and less mess, so that is the method I described in this recipe. You may also want to use the outdoor grill for this,when the weather is nice.
I could not believe how great this sandwich tasted. The fresh Mozzarella is simply a must have on this sandwich, just awesome, & the sharp cheddar cheese, brings everything together. I am sure this will become one of your family favorite summertime meals
I am so glad I can get FRESHLY MADE IRISH SAUSAGE NEAR MY HOME. It is made in the store, but you may want to use some other type if you can't find the Irish Sausage Links, like Fresh Polish or Italian Sausage. This is a complete meal.

The Worcestershire sauce turns the meat a little brown but it sure does pump up the flavor of the beef.
